Post-Ramadan Item

I feel like that  although Ramadan is already over I need to post a Post-Ramadan Item, just  complete the Ramadan series for you guys for this year.

As you might already know or might not know the Islamic Calendar is based on the change of the position of our moon or called the motion of our moon .
It has also 12 months named as the following:

1. Muharram 7. Rajab
2. Safar 8. Sha’ban
3. Rabi’ al-awwal (Rabi’ I) 9. Ramadan
4. Rabi’ al-thani (Rabi’ II) 10. Shawwal
5. Jumada al-awwal (Jumada I) 11. Dhu al-Qi’dah
6. Jumada al-thani (Jumada II) 12. Dhu al-Hijjah

As you can see we now already enter the 10th month which in Shawwal. Actually, a nice note is that each month starts by seeing the new moon by a human observer eye.

The new moon may be calculated very precisely. Nevertheless, the actual visibility of the crescent is much more difficult to predict. It depends on factors such as weather, the optical properties of the atmosphere, and the location of the observer. It is therefore very difficult to give accurate information in advance about when a new month will start.

Ramadan ’16 Edition – Thoughts

“A Bird. Sitting, as raindrops fell from the sky”25783734_24eb6f14e8

Masha Allah and Subhanallah is often mostly used capsized.
As the meaning of the first is: As God has willed (itu terjadi atas kehendak Allah).
It is used when someone sees something beautiful, as we don’t own things and everything belongs to him. Like Masha Allah what a beautiful baby.

And why did you, when you entered your garden, not say, ‘What Allah willed [has occurred]; there is no power except in Allah ‘? Although you see me less than you in wealth and children. [18:39]

As Subhanallah is used when we see something bad or at least we are astonished not amazed, in the content: Allah is scare from the ugliness (Allah maha suci dari keburukan tersebut).

As an extra touch, it is when we are afflicted with calamity and not only with one’s death we indeed also can say; “inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun” (to Allah we belong and to Allah we return)

Umm Salamah reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, “No Muslim is afflicted with a calamity but that he should say what Allah has commanded him: Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Allah we will return. (2:156) O Allah, reward me in my affliction and replace it with something better than it. If he does so, Allah will replace it with something better than it.”Source: Sahih Muslim 918
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Muslim

Though now knowing this it’s up to you how to use is. As Allah knows what is best.

Ramadan ’16 Edition – Marhaban ya Ramadan

As we know Ramadan is on the go, and it is already the seventh day. I’m soo sorry not to greet you earlier, fellow Muslim readers, for having a Blessed Ramadan.

I hope it’s not too late to share this as we should feel blessed for learning something new.

To begin with, Marhaban is not just a word applied in this secret month adopted from the Arabic language, except it has a greater meaning on applying this when we know its definition.

Marhaban ya Ramadan means literally: Welcome Ramadan

Expressing joy at the approach of Ramadhan is a sign of faith, so be happy and thank Allah that He has brought us to meet Ramadhan and  insyaAllah, again soon next year.
